THE FIRST CONVOCATION

The first convocation of GMC was held on May 10^th 1999. Lt Gen BKN Chibber, then Governor of Punjab and Administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigarh, was the chief guest. Medical diplomas were awarded to the first three (1991, 1992 and 1993) batches by Prof VK Kak, our second Director Principal.
